I put on my makeup first thing in the morning after a few cups of coffee. Except for touching up my lipgloss, I prefer not to think about my makeup again until bedtime when I take it off. Neutrogena Long Wear Eye Shadow + Built-In Primer
I was recently sent a Neutrogena Long Wear Eye Shadow + Built-In Primer in Smoky Steel to try. I don’t normally do a lot of grey colors with my blue eyes but I was intrigued by the “built in primer” part and decided to try it.
I was very happy to find that on the back of the eye shadow they show you how to apply it. I am not overly creative with my make up and prefer that multi color eye shadow palettes include directions. Thankfully, this was very easy to follow and I liked the overall look it resulted in.
The palette includes four different shades: lid, highlighter, crease and liner. The multi sided brush is easy to use and apply each of these shades although I wish it was just a tiny bit longer.
I’ve never worn an eye shadow with a built in primer and I definitely noticed that the Neutrogena Long Wear Eye Shadow + Built-In Primer looked good for a longer time than my regular eye shadows do. I got a nice soft smoky eye using this palette and it easily lasted me all day long with no creasing and required no touch ups at all.
For those that aren’t into Smoky Steel, you can also get this palette in Cool Plum, Soft Taupe, Cocoa Mauve, Mink Brown and Classic Nude. You can find this product in mass retailers and drug stores nationwide.
