St. Ives Facial Scrubs

Last Updated on December 30, 2021 by Ellen Christian

Did you ever look in the mirror one morning and notice that your skin looks tired?  It’s not as bright or smooth as it once was?  When I notice that my skin has lost that glow, it’s a sign to me that I need to exfoliate.   Exfoliating your skin will remove the dead skin cells and encourage blood flow to your skin. That makes for a younger, healthier glow.

St. Ives has a collection of facial scrubs that are made with 100% naturally derived exfoliants that gently smooth away dead skin. Their Facial Scrubs are hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic so they won’t clog your pores. Their Facial Scrubs contain no animal ingredients and they are formulated without parabens and phthalates.

St. Ives Facial Scrubs come in these varieties:

  • Timeless Skin Apricot Scrub – Visibly tones and firms skin  revealing younger looking skin in 7 days. Gentle formula with AHAs.
  • Sensitive Skin Apricot Scrub – Gently smooths and cleans. Oil free and non-irritating. Extra mild apricot scrub that is gentle enough to use every day.
  • Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub – Invigorates and smoothes skin. Oil free and dermatologist tested.  Deep cleans, instantly leaving skin smooth and glowing.
  • Blemish Control Green Tea Scrub – Gently clears breakouts and calms redness.

I really love that there is a scrub for every facial type.  My skin has been enjoying the Timeless Skin Apricot Scrub because it helps keep it toned and firm.  At 45, I need a little bit of extra help in that area.  When I was a teenager, I used the original St. Ives Apricot Facial Scrub and this gives me the same fantastic results I got when I was younger.  My daughter suffers from acne, so her choice is the Blemish Control Green Tea Scrub which is an oil free salicylic acid acne medication.

You can purchase St. Ives Facial Scrubs at most mass retail and drug stores or from Amazon. Suggested retail price is $3.99 – $5.69.

  1. I haven’t tried these yet, but definitely need to get back to using a scrub again. I’ll have to keep an eye out for them in stores!

  2. I used to use St Ives daily until my esthetician recommended something a bit gentler for my skin type. I still LOVE using it once a week for that deep clean. My face always feels so squeaky clean!

  3. I like the reveiw of the apricot scrub – I just might have to try it. The summer has a way of messing with my skin!
