Get 2013 NY Fashion Week’s Minimalism with mark

When it comes to makeup, I’m much more likely to go with a more neutral, minimalist makeup look than I am to go with bright, vibrant colors.  It looks like I am not the only one because from Tory Burch to Marc Jacobs, natural minimalism and statement eyebrows took the runways at Spring 2013 Fashion Week.

With mark, you can get these refined, designer-inspired looks for way, way less.  Here are a few products that I got to play with to get my own minimalist look.

1. Just Blushing Powder Blush SRP $9 (kitten)

3. Make it Rich Lip Crayon SRP $11 (naturally)

4. i-mark Wet/Dry Eyeshadow SRP $7 (minx)

5.  Lash Act Build and Define Mascara SRP $12 (blackest black)

6.  Got the Goods Multi-Benefit Foundation Lotion SPF15 SRP $18 (very light 2)

A few of these products were completely new to me and I have to share how impressed I am.  I have been searching for a good mascara for quite a while.  I have very thin, sparse eyelashes and I struggle with getting the length and pop that I want.  The Lash Act Build and Define Mascara is amazing!

I always forget to put on SPF on my face. I know it’s just as easy to burn your face as any other body part but for some reason I manage to forget.  I love that the Got the Goods Multi-Benefit Foundation Lotion has SPF15 included and it’s also got great coverage!

What do you think of my minimalist look today?

  1. I’m not much for bright colors either. I like the look! I sold Avon years ago and Mark was new. My girls ordered a lot of those products!

  2. Love this! I have never used their products but have wanted to! Love the before and after shots! Very pretty!

  3. Love your minimalist approach! I’m the same way and hate adding a lot of makeup to my face. I love the colors you chose and the simplicity of it all. You look gorgeous!

  4. I have the same hair color and skin color as you and I also like to go more neutral. I’ve never tried Mark products but I would like to!
