Stay Flawless this Holiday Season

Last Updated on February 25, 2022 by Ellen Christian

Along with being faced with an abundance of sweet treats, the holidays also mean that family get-togethers, reunions and work parties will be in full swing. Luckily, Laura Mercier’s NEW Art Deco Muse collection and 2012 Holiday Colour Sets contain all of the tools you need to look flawless this season.

Trend 1: Deep Red Lips – Always popular for holiday parties, this year’s red lip is deeper and richer (think oxblood and cranberry) than in seasons past. Stay on-trend, and make your lips the center of attention.

Trend 2: Shiny Metallics – Golds and silvers are no longer reserved for New Year’s Eve parties – they are ideal for any event this season. Line eyes with one of the shades below for a subtle shine or apply all over the lids for an instant, glamorous party look.

Trend 3: Dramatic Eyes– Nothing says “party” like dramatic eye makeup. Draw a flawless cat eye with the new (and permanent!) Graphic Liquid Eye Liner or smudge any one of Laura’s Mini Kohl Eye Pencils to create a beautiful smoky eye.

Bonus: All-In-One Palettes – Make getting ready for your next party a breeze with this portable palette. Containing lip, eye and cheek colours, this is a great “one-stop-shop” option for achieving a picture-perfect holiday look.

I truly love the quality of the products from Laura Mercier.   The Kohl eye pencils slide on smoothly and really last.   The Colour to Go Portable Palette is amazing. It’s the perfect palette to take with you while you’re out at Christmas parties and events because it has everything you need all in one compact. This is the look I got using these products.  What do you think?

  1. You know, you’re really getting me in the mood to start trying new things and experimenting with actual “looks” instead of just smearing the same eye shadow on and that’s it. I haven’t even owned eye liner in YEARS!! I have to get my act together…my husband (and others! LOL) will be thanking you!

I love how you look…such a soft, clean, fresh and polished look.

  2. Those colors look fantastic on you. Everywhere I go I see glossy red lipstick this season. I don’t know that I could pull it off though. I would probably wipe it off and go with something a little more subtle. As for the metalics and dramatic eyes I think I will be incorporating it into my New Year’s Eve look.
