Shiseido Luminizing Satin Face Color

Review:  Some days I don’t love my complexion.  I have rosacea which makes my cheeks rosy and causes periodic acne like breakouts.  I use cover up and some type of foundation every day to even out my skin tone.  Some days when I use foundation, I find that my complexion stops looking natural. It loses the glow that healthy skin has. To get that glow back, I’ve been experimenting with face powders and color.

I found that it goes on very smoothly with the enclosed brush and really lasts me all day. I don’t find that I have to reapply it during the day which is a huge plus for a busy woman. It blends easily and gives my skin that natural look that I want.

This face color is available in eight different shades so you won’t have any problem at all finding a color that works for your complexion.  I chose Medusa which is one of the lightest colors they have and I love the way it looks with my skin tone.

Buy it: You can find Shiseido products at stores like Macy’s and Sephora. You can also buy it on Amazon.

  1. I hit 30 this year and am finding that my skin has changed a lot. I am fighting acne like I was in high-school and my normal use of a basic foundation is no longer achieving the look I used. I think it’s time to start expanding my make-up collection past foundation and mascara. I have never heard of Face Color but it sounds like it’s worth checking into.

  2. I love that it can last all day! I hate reapplying makeup half way through the day. Who has time for that? I don’t.

  3. I’m just getting to the point where my skin doesn’t have that glow that you mentioned. I’ve never tried Shiseido products but this has inspired me to consider this next time I’m shopping for cosmetics!

  4. I have very sensitive skin and a lot of make up breaks me out and itch. Since you can wear Shiseido Luminizing Satin Face Color on your face I might have to give it a try. I like that it has eight different shades to pick from. It looks nice on you.
