Passion Creek

Passion Creek

There’s nothing more relaxing at the end of the night than to curl up with a good romance book like Passion Creek.  It’s a wonderful way to unwind and get rid of the stress of a busy day dealing with kids, work and whatever else didn’t go the way you wanted it to.

Josie Winarsky is a cocktail waitress is Las Vegas that dreams of escaping a job she hates and going to spend time in an artist colony in Nebraska.   She’s almost to the point where she has enough money saved when she gets in the middle of a mob plot and has to set aside her dream of becoming an artist to save her younger brother.

Sam Layton is a gorgeous, uptight history professor who is the complete opposite of Josie Winarsky.  A totally unexpected one night stand brings the two together, sparks fly.  Sam Layton stumbles across a long lost map to treasure called Rebecca’s Bounty and the two find themselves working together to find it while avoiding the mob who is trying to find Josie.

Passion Creek is a steamy romance (read that 18+)  that actually has a fantastic plot as well.  Some romances don’t have much to offer except for the romance itself.  Passion Creek kept me turning the pages to find out what happened next in their search for Rebecca’s Bounty. No matter what your reason, you definitely want to pick up a copy of Passion Creek (The Layton Family)
